Basic gameplay

I said You’d Be able to Catch Your own Nyan, and here’s how; The Nyan Savers card game!

It’s not on sale yet, But that’s no reason You shouldn’t know the ropes.

You’ll Be playing with a 16 card deck, either one per player or a single shuffled deck split into two 8 card sub decks.

First, both players flip the top card of their decks and compare the Class icon located on each

Ninja beats Mage, Mage beats Brawler, Brawler beats Gunner, Gunner beats Ninja.  The winner Shuffles Their Nyan back into their deck. The looser discards Their card, and gameplay continues until one player runs out of cards.

In case of Draw: So You both had the same class of Nyan, Or a Gunner v. Mage /Ninja v. Brawler throw down? Then it’s time for Elemental attributes to break that Tie!

Pretty familiar, eh? Here, Fire burns Earth, Earth blocks Wind, Wind scatters Water, and Water douses Fire. If You manage a double stalemate, like Fire Ninja versus Wind Brawler, Then play another card on top of Them, Double or nothing, Until one player wins. Then continue as usual.

Nyan Personalities.

During My weekly field study I noticed something revolutionary!                                                                                                                                  The skill sets displayed by what I refer to as “Advanced Nyan” seem to be directly influenced By their personalities as  Smaller “Primary Nyan”.    Below I’ve gathered some field sketches and notes on the personality types and their effects.

Playful: This Personality Type is instantly recognizable, and will run up to strangers without hesitation. That said, Catching a playful Nyan is devilishly hard, As they will mistake Your attempts for a game of tag. This particular Nyan came up to Me while I was watching a larger group and stole My notebook. In the end, I only recaptured half the pages and one chewed cover… They Seem to be the immature form of The Nomadic “Gunner Class” Nyan.      They show remarkable aim even in youth, and travel between different groupings and territories as if every Nyan and Human they meet is an old friend.

Aggressive: The most dangerous Primary Nyan, Not to be interacted with unless absolutely necessary. It comes as no surprise that the  “Brawler Class”, The most battle zealous of advanced Nyan, are adult aggressive Types.

I barely finished this sketch before She attacked Me...

They plunge headfirst into battle against Humans, other Nyan, and even cars and trucks, being strong and fast enough to stop motor vehicles in their tracks. Given Their violent ways, other wild Nyan, including some advanced, will avoid Aggressive Types at all costs.

Clever: Highly intelligent and cautious, They are the most likely to gather into large groups. Able to ferret out traps and work doors with little difficulty. Clever Nyan create gangs out of varied Types of Primary Nyan to conduct raids on Human houses. Less enterprising Clever Nyan will follow strong Advanced Nyan as sidekicks. This choice of brain over brawn is continued into adulthood When Clever types become tricky “Mage Class” Nyan.

Timid: The hardest Type of Primary Nyan to study, I almost never find These easily frightened wallflowers of the Nyan ecosystem. Rarely interact with other Primary Nyan. Excellent at hiding and quieting their footsteps, When they advance to “Ninja Class” it comes as no surprise. There’s no telling how many I’ve passed right by thanks to their camouflage skill.

Get ready to catch!

Well, Not much to see Yet, But with the coming Weeks this site will Be crawling with Nyan!

No, Not the famous one… I’m referring to Tiny super-powered cat people. I know, It’s weird, But They can cause a nasty bit of damage left to their own devices. That, and There’s been rumors of a secret organization kidnapping them to be used as weapons…

I’ll be providing comics, Reports on new discoveries, And How to catch Your own when I get the chance. Until then, stay vigilant.
